Enable encryption key rotation to effectively turn your group chat into a closed chat. This stops anyone from sharing a link to the chat, prevents new participants from seeing old messages and stops participants who’ve left the chat from seeing new messages.

Invite anyone to join a meeting or group chat
It’s easy to catch up with groups of friends and colleagues on MEGA—even if they don’t have a MEGA account. You can invite anyone to join your group chat or meeting and guests just need to click on the link that’s been shared with them.
No downloads or sign-ups needed
You don’t need to download anything or sign up to MEGA to join a meeting or group chat from your computer. You don’t even need a phone number. You just need a link from the meeting host and you’re ready to go.
If you want to join a group chat or meeting from your mobile, you won’t need to sign up to MEGA, but you will need to download one of our mobile apps.

Send messages, files, GIFs, and emojis to one person or a group. Anyone with the link can join a group chat, including people without MEGA accounts.

Make audio and video calls on MEGA. You can also schedule or start an instant meeting and invite over 100 people, including people who don’t have a MEGA account. Just send them a calendar invite or a link. Invitees can join as guests by clicking on the link.

Easily add new contacts to MEGA – just send them an invite. You can also send your MEGA contacts to others in a chat or meeting.

Waiting room for meetings
Meeting hosts can turn on this feature to prevent all participants from joining the call straight away, and instead, place them into a virtual waiting room. The host can then decide who joins the meeting and when.
Mentions in a chat
If you want to alert someone, or multiple people, in a meeting or a group chat, you can simply add an @ sign in front of a user name, and they’ll be notified. Only MEGA users can be mentioned.
Reply to a message with context
You can use “Reply to” in a chat or meeting to include the reference to the message you’re responding to. This means your reply will have the relevant context.
